Our Methods

At Ronell, we believe that hearing protection should match your work situation as closely as possible. This is how we create the best possible protection.

You can protect your ears in different ways. For this, otoplastics (custom-made earplugs) are the most effective solution. This hearing protection is made based on your own ear impression. This gives you a 100% proper fit for your ear, virtually eliminating the risk of leakage.

1. Measurement
The starting point is a noise measurement. Here, the averages or peak volumes are measured. Thanks to this measurement, we know which filter best suits your work situation.

At the same time, workers are fitted with hearing protection. An impression is taken of their ear so that we have a perfect representation of the ear canal.

2. Production
The print is sent to our laboratory. Here the print is put into a 3D scanner so that an exact copy can be printed from resin or silicone. This is the basis for the otoplastic. It contains a channel through which sound can penetrate. The selected filter regulates the volume per frequency.

Based on your requirements, some more details are added: for example, an approach (handle), carrying cord and detection ball. Now the otoplasty is ready for use.

3. Delivery
Unfortunately, many workers still receive their hearing protection by post. There is a risk that the worker is not properly instructed, or that the otoplasty does not fit properly. This is dangerous. That is why we deliver the hearing protection personally, so that we can test the quality. At the same time, we have the opportunity to give instructions, so you can be assured of proper protection.

4. Free leak tests
Your ear canal can deform over the years. As a result, the attenuation becomes ever so slightly less. That is why we visit you regularly to check the quality. This way, we can guarantee protection. If the otoplasty leaks sound within two years, you are entitled to a replacement with us.
