Do you have questions about our otoplastics or services? Below you will find the most frequently asked questions:
Is your question not listed? Let us know!
Hearing protection is available everywhere and otoplastics are fairly easy to obtain. But good hearing protection is not enough. Because: are you wearing the right hearing protection? Who checks whether the earplugs fit properly in your ear canal? And how do you ensure awareness and support among employees in the case of harmful noise? At Ronell we look at the work situation. This way, hearing protection is used much more effectively. That is why one of our hearing advisors always comes to see you. He or she takes a good look at the work situation and gives advice tailored to your situation. Thus, all employees are effectively protected. Moreover, the hearing advisor will deliver the otoplastics themselves. They provide instructions on how to wear it and check its operation. Unlike other suppliers, you can now be sure that employees are really well protected. We also visit you free of charge and without obligation if you have questions. This keeps the threshold low to take good care of your hearing.
Ask people who wear otoplastics themselves. They'll all say the same thing: they fit perfectly. Because the earplugs are completely tuned to your ears, you won't be bothered by them. So unlike other hearing protection, it is very comfortable to wear. In addition, the lifespan is long, which means that the costs are favourable in the long term.
This depends on a number of factors. Which hearing protection is best for you depends on the noise situation and specific wishes:
It is best to answer this question together with one of our hearing advisors. Every environment and situation is different and requires different properties from the hearing protection. They are personally tailored and therefore fit perfectly in your ears.
Hearing protection is mandatory when the average volume is 85 decibels or higher. Above 80 decibels, employees are entitled to have their employer provide them with hearing protection. Make sure that the hearing protection filters well! Some types of hearing protection may not be adequate for very loud sounds.
In addition to supplying hearing protection, we help companies to become aware of the risks. Many employees suffer from hearing loss. And that's a shame, because it's often easy to prevent. Therefore we provide lots of toolboxes/courses at different companies. These toolboxes are a good addition to an SCC programme.
When you wear hearing protection, you will always hear sound. Sound can still enter through your skull or bone conduits. Your skull transmits the vibrations of sound to the hearing organ. The body/skull works as a sound box. Through all surfaces, it can vibrate through your bones to your hearing organ. In addition, it would be unsafe to hear nothing at all. You need your hearing to be aware of risks. You should especially still be able to hear alarms and horns. This is why we have designed the sound filters in such a way that loud noise is attenuated, but these warning sounds can still be heard.

Proper maintenance ensures that your otoplastics will last for years. Please follow the steps below:Â
At least once every two weeks, you should clean the otoplastics more thoroughly:Â
